  12. A friend of mine has a Compaq Presario 425 and wants to install a new 
  13. modem. The problem is that disabling the built in modem via the setup 
  14. program doesn't work well enough- and Compaq wants to charge $35 to tell 
  15. him which jumper is used to fully disable it! Does anyone know where this 
  16. jumper is- or who to speak to? Thanks alot!
